1) Posture
The correct riding posture is: the upper body is low, and the head is slightly tilted and stretched forward; The arms naturally bend, which is convenient for bending the waist, reducing the center of gravity of the body, and preventing the impact force generated by the car bumps from being transmitted to the whole body; Hold the handle gently and forcefully, and sit firmly on the seat.
2) Pedal
There are three pedaling methods in cycling: freestyle, toe down and heel down.
① Free style pedaling method: At present, some excellent athletes mostly use free style pedaling method. This pedaling method means that the ankle joint angle changes according to different parts during the rotation of the foot. Free style pedaling conforms to the principle of mechanics. The direction of force is consistent with the tangential line of the circle formed when the pedal rotates, which reduces the range of motion of the knee joint and thigh, improves the frequency of pedaling, naturally passes through the critical area, and reduces the dead point. The thigh muscles can also be relatively relaxed. But this kind of pedaling method is difficult to master.
② Tip down pedal method: The pedal method is characterized by that the tip of the foot is always down during the whole pedal rotation process. This method has a small range of ankle activity, which is conducive to increasing the frequency and easy to master, but the leg muscles are always in a tense state, which is not conducive to natural passage through the critical area.
③ Heel down pedaling method: The heel down pedaling method is that the toe is slightly upward and the heel is 8~15 degrees downward. This method is rarely used in normal riding, but only a few people use the heel down pedaling method when they make excessive adjustment during riding. It is characterized by that the muscles can change their exertion state in a short time, get a short rest, and achieve the purpose of recovering muscle fatigue
